Creating a New Budget

Go to the navigation menu and select Purchasing.  Then select Budget.


Select the project from the content panel.


Click on Add Work Order to add work orders individually.


Select the work order from the dropdown and enter the number of schedule days.  Then click on Save Changes.


To add multiple work orders at once, select Add Model Items.


Select the model and then click on Next.


Select the checkbox for each variation and then click on Finish.


Click on Yes to clear existing work orders from them from the budget.  Click on No if you would like them to remain on the budget.


To copy a budget from an existing estimate, click on the action menu and then select Create Budget from Estimate.


Once the work orders are added, expand the work order and update any existing billing items.  Then click on Save Changes.


If miscellaneous items are needed, click on the Misc Items tab.  Then select Add New Row.


Enter the details for the miscellaneous item and then click on Save Miscellaneous Items.
